Recommended It's kind of fine and runs okay. It feels like the power ups are what the character normally should have and that have been stripped from the player to make failing more likely. Even if you persist, the levels are repetitive. You are not given anything for persistence and instead you are bored to death with the same levels over and over, making it difficult to keep paying attention beyond the first attempt at the first level. It is like there is content missing there. There is not enough mechanical depth for the base mechanics to be entertaining without level content and the level content is repetitive. It is not good when a game starts to feel deja vu on its first run. The movement is slow, the shooting is underpowered with inconsistent damage, everything blocks your shots (it's a GUN - make it destroy the obstacles - that could have been a FUN mechanic) and the movement speed is a way too slow. It seems that the ability to defend oneself with a gun had to be offset by making every gameplay aspect as ineffectual and dissatisfying as possible. That is the worst possible take on this annoying roguelite fad. If you have to make death into a game mechanic, make it fun.…

Honestly one of the worst entries I've came across in this genre. Extremely boring and repetitive, no meta-progression of any kind. Slow and clunky controls/gameplay. This is like 1/3 of a game at best.

"Cheftastic!: Buffet Blast" is what looks like a console game in the wrong place. It's a top down console shooter that I thought was a student project until I saw this used to have a price tag. I'm guessing it didn't pan out because there's no price now, but that still doesn't mean there's value for money here. What do you do in the game? It's some middle-of-the-road console game top down shooting that doesn't do much that games like Contra did decades ago. You're a chef and you shoot a bunch of mutant vegetables or something. It's like all the good ideas for video games were taken and this is all that was left. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. Ingredients: 1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 2. 1/2 cup white sugar 3. 1/2 cup brown sugar 4. 1/4 cup water 5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 6. 1 pinch salt 7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced 8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). 2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside. 3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices. 4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal. 5.
