About Chopping Hour
This game directly brings together restaurant management and suspense. While you prepare and deliver customer orders on time, you also have to deal with different threats that hunt you. Restoring power quickly during outages, checking the cameras before stepping outside, remembering to look behind you, and neutralizing the sniper that targets you if you go too far; all are part of survival. The kitchen side is clear and practical: buy products, check and stock what comes out of boxes, set up fridge and shelf organization, cook, and deliver the right menu to the customer.

[strike]The 'New Game' button doesn't work. I can't play at all. I installed the game on three separate devices and had no luck. I'll watch for an update, and if I can play, I'll reassess my review.[/strike] Now that I've played the game, it's pretty alright for half an hour. The events that can happen get a bit annoying after a while, so I dropped the difficulty down to easy. The food items in the game are very basic, and there's no worry about things going cold or rotten, so that's a bonus, I guess? At £2.11, it's alright.3 found this helpful
When the game initially dropped it was unplayable. Now that it is fixed, it is still kind of unplayable. I'll explain. This game is visually dark af. The main issue is the one assassin that kills the power to the restaurant. Even eith the brightness and gamma settings cranked to the point you can't see anything on the in-game computer screen to order stuff you need, you still can't see much pf anything. I found it impossible to see the cutting board, grill, ingredients, etc. to prerpare dishes. That aside, the tutorials could be bette, not to mention some kind of explanation for the assassins. Yeah, some are kind of common sense like thr buther being you outrun him then hide, but to find out to beat the other two I had to resort to the achievements list. All in all cannot recomend simply due to the darkness bug that hits following the assassin that kills the power. Hopefully the devs can fix this.2 found this helpful
Chopping Hour is an unconventional indie experience developed and published by Halvenor that merges restaurant management with survival horror in a way that few games attempt. What begins as a seemingly routine job of operating a small restaurant gradually transforms into a stressful struggle for survival, where serving customers is only half of the challenge. The other half involves staying alive in a workplace filled with mysterious dangers, hostile entities, and unexpected threats. By combining two vastly different genres, the game creates a distinctive identity that immediately stands out among both simulation and horror titles. The management side of the experience is surprisingly detailed. Players are responsible for maintaining every aspect of the restaurant's operation, from ordering supplies and unpacking deliveries to organizing storage areas and preparing meals. Customer satisfaction depends on how efficiently orders are handled, making time management an essential skill. Every task contributes to the restaurant's profitability, creating a satisfying gameplay loop where organization and efficiency directly influence success. Unlike many casual cooking games, Chopping Ho…1 found this helpful
