THE GRIND IS REAL! Oh my goodness I didn't think this would ever end! This is by far the strangest KT game I've played yet, and I mean that in the best of ways. This game has pretty much no three or four act structure to it (since the fourth act here is insanely short), but this game shines in its difficulty. There is NO difficulty slider in this game, and most of the game I can say with some confidence is kind of difficult. The last few bosses are kind of easy at that point but the road up to that point is incredibly difficult. The story though is quite short, on NG+ this game could honestly be beaten in under like 4 or 5 hours at worst. The problem is your first time through you will honestly need to grind materials just to stand a chance against not just the later bosses but even the common enemies. Most of the late game dragons can easily kill you. This is the first KT game I wasn't able to auto every fight and it was a thoroughly more pleasing experience due to that.

Hello Friends, Today i will review the game Chronus Arc.This is a mobile port from Hit Point Co. Ltd. comapny. They also made other jrpg's similiar to this one. Each game has different mechanics compared to their other games. I believet this is to try to keep their games fresh and interesting. Still, there is something for keeping game with same mechanics, like the Ys series. Basically, the story is similiar to other jrpgs, about saving the world from xxx person and recover xxx item to save whole planet. This is basically a cookie cutter rpg that shows it weakness in how short the story is. Even the post game activities are very short compared to other games that are similiar. If i could, i would rate this game as neutral. Anyways, here is my PROS and CONS: PROS: - JRPG with 3 characters. - A massive world to explore. - Many dungeons and side quests. - A special dungeon, but you need to buy the key to open it in the star stores. - Works with a controller. Chronus Arc is a game about simple Sokoban puzzles and grinding....a lot of grinding. The game is an pixelated JRPG like in the good old S-Nes times...only that it doesn't come even close to those games. You get a team of 3 characters. Non of them is anything special. Your party is in search for 4 crystals. Of course the bad guys are also after the stones. It is a very linear story. Means that you can only visit locations after Simon says it. Now the interesting parts: after each fight you will get exp. points to level up. But also 1 Mana point for each slain enemy. Those mana points you can exchange in special shops in the cities for items. Also in every city is an bounty shop. You must fist visit this shop and than you can hunt down material or enemies to get gold or items. During your travels you'll find materials these spots are renewed after you leave the dungeon. Those are needed to boost your armor/weapon....at every new location you'll find a guy with new formulas to strengthen your equipment. Have I told you that this game is heavy on grinding?
