DEVELOPER'S COMMENTS
We started developing this game based on a few simple ideas: "Let's make a 3D game," and "Can we portray the stories and world we've imagined as a video game?"
And finally, the game is here.
We hope you have a wonderful experience traversing this strange world and unraveling the story, as well as taking a deeper look into concepts such as purity, ugliness, joy, and anxiety - some of the complex and constantly moving parts that make up the human psyche.

-Alot of walking. -Blinding white/light at some points in the game. -Pacing felt a little slow. Due to the size of the maps at times. -Felt like a older horror game. Also had some Silent hill feels at times. 👍1 found this helpful
i really love the vibe of this game and the story was pretty interesting. love ophelia <3
A story focused adventure game with a slightly horror atmosphere (no jumpscares or monsters though) and a couple of simple puzzles. The story is told mainly through short cutscenes, notes and very well executed environmental storytelling. Has some unexpectedly sensible symbolism. The gameplay is basically walking around and picking up items. Despite the PS3-like visuals, the game actually looks pretty good thanks to the art direction. I recommend checking the "How to get the True ending" guide - it doesn't have any spoilers and it's not much work, but if you miss one thing, you'd have to the replay the whole game to get the true ending. This game was a big let down. I don't know how people enjoyed this? Characters/Story/Gameplay: Here you play as a 6' 8" (203cm) young autistic man. He appears mysterious and interesting. As you progress you realize he has a fear of something that is 4' (122cm) tall. There are multiple stories and you find notes along the way to help set the mood for such story. But with such awful back and forth tasks the story becomes irrelevant and the game becomes a chore. For example, after wandering around trying to get through confusing annoying maps. You finally find a key. "Do you want to take it ?" yes, no or go wander the abyss some more. FFS just give me the item and stop wasting my time, which you love doing already with me pacing like an npc for a few hours. Oh, to make everything lovely, you can get one shot and all that hours of walking back and forth go for nothing. No autosave and you lost all that progress. Get this man with glass bones out of my face! Music/Artwork: Small plus from this game is the music and artwork is pretty good. It does its job to keep it creepy and mysterious. I would like to say a lot more but they already took my money so I rather th…
Loved Cineris Somnia, especially Charlotte's chapter. I didn't expect Ophelia's to be kinda scary but she got me once with her sword lol. The game was oddly comforting to me. I loved the story, the soundtracks and the visuality of the game.
literally one of my favorite games ever. Ophelia's chapter is so much fun and the stories of all the characters are very emotional, it really makes you feel for them. imo great mechanics everything considered. it felt super smooth to play through, getting away from Ophelia felt more like strategizing in a sense of: remembering every room in the house (lol) rather than "oh ♥♥♥♥ theyre after me what do i do". im not the best with horror-survival games for that reason but while Ophelia is definitely scary shes not impossible to play around/get away from which i very much appreciate. very beautiful background in every chapter aswell just overal amazing.
