There are some really amazing aspects to this game that build upon the foundation laid by the RE2 remake - However it doesn't quite feel like a full game. Despite that I still recommend RE fans and casuals to experience the game. After having played my first Resident Evil game just before starting 3, I was expecting a bit more of a fully fledged out experience. Instead what Resident Evil 3 Remake offers is much more akin to a DLC or expansion of RE2R. The runtime is quite short - I completed the game in its entirety on hardcore my first time through in 3 ~ hours. It also doesn't add much to the knowledge that I had already gained in RE2R. We learn a few bits and pieces of lore that give more information regarding Umbrella and some neat BTS stuff regarding [spoiler]Marvin.[/spoiler] It was all just sort of...disappointing? Maybe it is just because I had just finished 2's remake the night before but 3 felt like it was leaving something on the table. So I did some research and it turns out that Capcom cut quite a bit out of the remake compared to what was in the original. I knew they had done that a little bit in 2's but from what I understand it wasn't quite as drastic as what they…1 found this helpful

Game is good. Wasn't able to play the original but I think this remake done a good job in the introduction of the characters we all like in the franchise. Overall gameplay and story direction are good. Worth much more on sale. Reviewer's PC Specs:
