This game is crap. I do not have items to move to the next step and all the hints point me to thing I need but do not have. I am not having fun.1 found this helpful
Do Games does as Do Games do. It's another typical game from Do Games Limited, whom I guess have changed their name from Domini Games. This company's games are more difficult than games I've played that were published by Big Fish or Artifex Mundi... and not for good or satisfying reasons. "City Legends: The Ghost of Misty Hill" is constructed like the other Do Games I've played. As I make progress, the playable area grows larger and larger. Rooms have interactions requiring items that I don't acquire until sometimes AN HOUR later. The same applies to items. My inventory balloons with random items that may be useless for a while. With so many rooms and so many items, there's just too much going on. It's not possible for me to keep everything in my head at once. Do Games keep using this design, and it just isn't casual and smooth to play through! I started CL:TGoMH on "advanced" difficulty, but I knocked it all the way down to "casual" to get a tolerable experience. I'd gain a new item that doesn't have an obvious use, then have to backtrack through every available room to find what kind of whackadoodle interaction the item was meant for. It felt slow and tedious t…1 found this helpful
Game froze up when ever I click on the box with 3 gems in the backyard. Had to ctrl alt delete to get out of the game. Not able play any further.
yes I would
It's a cool hidden object/puzzle game. Decent story line. Awful voice acting LOL. I enjoyed it though. You can play "match 3" if you don't want to do some of the puzzles or click the hint button to complete the puzzle. I liked that as I didn't understand one or two of the puzzles, but felt very rewarding when I got the puzzles right. If you like hidden object games and puzzle games, give this one a go!
City Legends: Misty Hill - Win 11 no problems A mix of Hidden Object and other puzzles following a ghostly storyline. - Story: large part of game - skipped almost all cut scenes and notes (only interested in HO and puzzles) - Hidden Object: not a big part of game - HO scenes are decent and components challenging to find - Puzzles: odd mix - some extremely difficult and some extremely easy - Gameplay: typical moving between rooms, gathering items to assemble or use to open locks. This is the weak point of the game. Many items are inappropriate/illogical for the task at hand (I can't explain w/o spoiling) so player just starts applying everything in inventory to any situation to see what works. Items are single use. There are numerous locks to be removed but you can only use the prybar once. In the "I didn't get this at all" category is Medical Eguipment, Prescriptions and Papers. These were items scattered throughout the various scenes. Player is tasked with collecting these. For what purpose, I do not know. Player can gather Prescriptions and buy items in the "Boudoir". I tried twice, bought objects, but saw no benefit in doing so. I googled, searched steam for a guide…
