City of Cats

City of Cats is a "simulator" game where you follow a family through 12 missions, who adopt a cat into their family. I got this game as a “gift”, however I still don't know why this product exists or what I did to get this game in general. You can have a laugh about how this game looks, especially the characters and also about the barebone and uninspired missions the game has. Also there are technical issues with this game, for example at one mission you need to ride a bike which you cannot do at all but at least you can finish this mission on foot. You can also often see characters and other props levitating in the game, not even mentioning the cursor disappears after a few minutes in the menus making the navigation really annoying. For 1€ the game offers like 15 - 20 minutes of gameplay, which is about going around a ghost town basically and sometimes doing small mini games. It feels half made and I don't recommend playing it at all. Thank you for the “gift”.

But you can see on SteamDB that the "developer" behind this was Cristian Manolachi if you look at the update history. This is an asset flip with no value to gamers, put on Steam as a fake game scam. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display.
