To start with I'm not a great fan of turn based games, I accept that this was a risk. Graphically its wonderful, gameplay wise not so much. Combat wise I feel its a hot mess. Like other users have said, if you´re good with reaction times then great, if not then you´re screwed pretty much. Progression is based on your ability to dodge and I just find it to be a bit of a let down. If the combat were different then I could probably enjoy this game but unfortunately as is its not possible. Hats off to the devs for a cinematic masterpiece but unfortunately not for me and I couldn't recommend it to anyone if they have crap reaction times like me.1 found this helpful

beautiful all around
Masterpiece of a story. Amazing characters. Voice Acting is top level. Great visuals and world. Gameplay is great and combat is awesome but it may get repetitive at some point of the game. And the music... oh my the music is everything! Overall the game is just 33/10.
Playing so far I feel like I understand the system now. In addition to a great story, visuals, & voice acting they also have a phenomenal combat system. You don't just make your decisions and then watch them play out, you need to be alert timing your attacks and dodges to get every extra bit of strength you can. It's an excellent way to keep the player engaged and feeling like they're "getting it" when it comes to the combat - no longer do you think, "well I'm halfway through this battle but I can't survive this." With proper timing you can pull off a miracle and battles like that are very rewarding.
