But to be more specific: This is the story of a man, recently promoted to junior sales representative, enjoying the comforts and leisure of lower-mid-level office work. However, things suddenly take a turn for the worse, and the Clam Man is cast into an adventure full of danger, suspicion, and mystery. Join him, as he unravels the conspiracy behind the tragic event that befalls him, and fight to restore CLAMMY JUSTICE to the world of Snacky Bay.

Clam Man is a point'n'click adventure game, with an emphasis on story rather than puzzles! We wanted to create a game focused on the parts we loved about old school adventure games - the story and the jokes. It's a simple, entertaining game where you explore the world and interact with it's inhabitants. Oh, and we did throw a few puzzles in here and there, too.

I don't know you, but I'm sure you're a pretty cool person. I'll just ask a couple questions to figure that out:
- Do you enjoy story-driven games?
- Do you enjoy absurd and strange comedy?
- Do you want to relax and play a game where the primary objective is to make you laugh at said strange comedy?
- Have you got a thing for ridiculous underwater settings and weird, nonsensical stories?

Clam Man is a very silly point-and-click adventure through a presumably underwater world that isn't interested in explaining itself or taking anything at all seriously. No opportunity to make a joke or subvert expectations will be wasted. Despite that, the whole thing was pretty straightforward. At no point was I lost on the plot or completely confused about what to do next. The few puzzles hiding amongst all the sarcastic dialogue were just hard enough to leave me feeling clever and not enough to lead towards any sort of frustration. And the same is true of the amount of set dressing to click per scene for those extra bits of flavor. No part of Clam Man outstays its welcome.3 found this helpful

Funniest game I played in a while, I can't name a funnier game with the level of writing this game had. 10/10 story after playing this game I was brined, now I'm fishing.
sweet & silly world & story. consistently enjoyable. puzzles are whatever but also not the appeal. great artstyle.

Clam Man feels like a love letter to point and click games from the old days of Newgrounds that's evolved with it's team to grow into this sweet and funny slice of hilariously compelling narrative where we follow Clam Man, who works as a Junior Sales Rep at the Mayonaise Factory. The art style is soft and the characters are distinct and charming, the puzzle elements are low and you will not struggle. You will follow this Clam Man through his story and you will get to the end with no grief. Writing humor that is paced well, keeps it's beats refreshing and keeps you chuckling throughout a game is a valuable skill that is a gold shining star I can give this title. Keeping my eyes on the sequel with unrelenting hunger/10
