Classic Snake

It's like the old classic mobile snake, but on PC and with more colour. As a classic snake game it plays very simple. Move the snake around to eat the dots and avoid touching walls or yourself. There you have it, it wont get easier than that. But you can make it harder, the game allows you to alter some aspects of the game like your movement speed, field size and foodspawns. It's snake. It's classic. It's Classic Snake. What else is there to say?

Classic Snake is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Snake (Copyright Nokia, 1997). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Nokia against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown (specifically Tetris Company LLC vs Xio Interactive in New Jersey). Sure, Nokia created Snake as a mechanically similar derivative of Gremlin's much earlier 1970's Blockade game, but it's significantly different in enough ways (not being multiplayer for example)... where this is absolutely not. The copyright infringement is in the name on this one. This also infringes on Nokia's trademark, so the developer clearly went out of their way to break copyright law for profit (which is illegal in some parts of the world and can carry penalties of up to $250,000 and up to 5 years in prison).
