About Connected Hearts: The Full Moon Curse Collector's Edition
Imagine a quiet, peaceful forest. The healer Riviera is picking herbs with her mentor Harriet when suddenly she sees her beloved Mark in blood. A wild animal has wounded him! Treatment doesn't help: Mark is turning into a monster... But werewolves are just fiction, aren't they? Riviera doesn’t have time to think about this as Gregor, a relentless witch hunter, follows her everywhere. He suspects Riviera of witchcraft and wants to protect the townsfolk from her. Will Mark and Riviera get out alive? And will they be able to tell who is the friend and who is the enemy?

This is one of those pleasant & pretty yet not overly memorable HOG games that are worth getting on sale. The solutions are not always obvious, which I think adds to the challenge, although I had to use hints a few times because some solutions are a bit "out there", but I'd take that over a super obvious game any day. Enjoy it on a rainy Sunday morning. :) * I noticed other reviews mentioned bugs, but I did not encounter any.2 found this helpful
I was contemplating if I should really write a review, because the game is buggy as others have already pointed out. Halfway through the game my Steam Deck crashed - and not just once. I re-installed the game, started it over and reached exactly the same point, where it crashed again. The thing is, I enjoyed this game enough to start it a third time on my PC where it finally ran without any bigger issues. That's why I gave it a positive rating. The plot is engaging, the characters interesting enough and the hidden object puzzles were fun with little creative twists. This IS an enjoyable hidden object game - probably even one of my favorites - but depending on your device it can be buggy1 found this helpful
I will preface this by saying that most of my previous experience with hidden object games has strictly been published by Artifex Mundi, so this is the first game I've played that has not been through them. I will say that I am pleasantly surprised, and am glad to have played it! I thought the storyline for this game was refreshing and different from others I had played. Just like most HOP games I've played, you play as a character trying to save or rescue another character. This game, however does have switching perspectives, and I did appreciate being able to play different sides of the story. I had gotten this game because I thought the plotline sounded romantic to a degree, and the game certainly did deliver with that. The soundtrack also matched the events of the story, which was appreciated, though I did notice that a lot of the music remained the same. There were a select sections of plot where the music did not match the moment, and while that didn't change the emotions being depicted, it would have enhanced the gameplay. The achievements and collectibles in the game were a ton of fun! I loved the variety given to the player: you get statues of different shape-shift…1 found this helpful
This game does not as many hidden object scenes as most in the genre, but the puzzles, art and story are probably a little above average compared to others. It is nothing spectacular, but definitely recommended.
