Can't recommend this game enough. Absolute gem. Best feature is the 2 player local.

Works on Reverb G2. Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. Containment Initiative 2 feels way too basic and outdated for a modern sequel of 8 years old game. Local multiplayer is always a nice feature though. It is a zombie survival VR game that has like 5% of TWD:S&S's content, features and quality. Gunhandling is weak by modern day standards: there are no virtual stock for two-handed weapons and no separation between buttons for grabbing the gun and reloading. Enemies are mostly helpless slow zombies with poor animations and basic damage system. Scavenging is just picking up glowing trash littered all over half empty environments, nothing like satisfying rummaging through containers in TWD:S&S. The campaign consists of ~6 very short main missions and 2 horribly boring wave shooter levels. The whole game could have been finished in an hour, but mandatory grind to unlock quest items slows it down. The worst part of this is requirement to destroy 25 drones to unlock the final mission: they only spawn on two levels once every few minutes. That grind bored me to death midway through, and I gave up. Playing in local coop was slightly more enjoyable, but …

Fun game with great weapon handling and the coop mode is pretty neat. Too short but worth the price.

Terrible. The PC + VR co-op is trash and laggy as HELL. Especially the more enemies you have the game trying to handle. The VR in particular is practically unresponsive at that point. UNLESS you have a DAMN good gaming desktop? Don't waste your money on it. Sorry, but if it is supposed to have that kind of co-op and fails to properly deliver: It isn't worth the money. AND RETARDED VALVE WILL NOT LET ME ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOG-IN ON A WEB BROWSER TO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REQUEST A REFUND! WHAT THE HELL?! BECAUSE I CAN'T SUBMIT A REFUND REQUEST IN THE PC APP!

CI was one of my first VR shooter experiences back in 2020 and I loved it back then. They've really improved on the game by adding such interesting missions and the SUV. Get this if you like a casual zombie shooters and VR!!
