corescapes is an online coop liminal wave defense and exploration game, where your goal is simple: protect the core and feed it remnant.DEFEND.
- defend the CORE against onslaughts of enemies based on various internet aesthetics
- each aesthetic gets a boss fight (weirdcore, webcore, liminalcore, dreamcore, etc.)
- traverse and explore through various liminal spaces in search of remnant to stabilize the CORE
- unlock and gain new teammates, weapons, remnant as you warp across voidscapes
- choose a class and forge a build from a wide arsenal of weapons and utilities
- expand your skill set, purchasable items, and a growth tree between runs
