About Corinne Cross's Dead & Breakfast
With no plans lined up after graduating, Corinne agrees to do a favor and look after a hospitalized acquaintance's home... a home that turns out to be a ghost-infested bed & breakfast! Her peaceful week of housesitting becomes seven days of madness as she finds herself surrounded by a variety of eccentric ghosts with entirely different demands...Gameplay
- Sidescrolling adventure game (NOT a horror game despite the ghosts)
- A character-rich, story-driven experience
- You have 7 days at the B&B. Try to make each day count!
- Switches between day and night, affecting available interactions
Key Features
- Gardening! Raise a garden by tending to the B&B's potted plants. Sell the flowers you've grown for money!
- Cooking! Create tasty breakfast dishes in the kitchen. Can you find all 10 recipes?
- Ghosts! Get to know the B&B's otherwordly guests. Choose what you say carefully! There are multiple endings based on your decisions.
- New Game+! Beat the game once to unlock a harder version of the game with alternate dialogue, bonus scenes, extra content, and a few... secrets...
CCD&B was initially developed in a month for the 2015 IGMC (and won grand prize). This is an updated version with improved art, more illustrations, better writing and implementation of multiple endings, new characters and maps, and more content and details in general.

Short but fun game1 found this helpful
Decided to replay this game after five years. Has a lot of heart. Deals with grief and death in a positive manner.1 found this helpful
Played this game on a while back on my Ex's old MAC and brought it on steam since it was so cheap and on sale to leave my review, i won't lie though this isn't my type of game and only played it once when my EX basically forced me to XD. I like that even though the main theme of the game is death it goes in a whole different direction the horror the more cozy and calm feeling is a nice change of pace for the dead and i like it for that reason. The game while extremely basic looking, like it looks like a cool math game if I'm being completely honest, does have some charm to it. The cutesy art style is plus and the beautiful portrait art does help mask the cheap feel of the game. Gameplay rise it's pretty basic, but for this type of game you really don't need anything but the basic's is suppose. I wish it wasn't so hand holdy though most if not all the conflict in the game is always sorted out for the player even when we fail and i think it could of been slight more challenging. The music is really well done a lot of great tracks here so bonus points there. [Gameplay 10/20. Graphics 12/20. Story 13/20. Music 15/20. Repalyabilty 5/10.] Final Grade 5.5/10 Final Score 6/10.
This game has a great story you really gotta play through the first two days and nights to really start enjoying your self the first day you can't do to much but as you go through each day and night the more things you can do the more entities you can interact with it really is such a great story.
This is...not what I was expecting. I anticipated a point-and-click adventure game, not a smaller, less colourful Stardew-like. I completed the first day and feel absolutely no desire to continue playing. Apparently it's short, but it doesn't feel like a game I want to stick with for more than a couple hours.
this is a short and very sweet game that I thought was wonderful. the story is interesting, the characters are engaging and the art is lovely. I got the best ending and will definitely be going back to try the other choices.
