Cowboy Escape is a Russian asset/"template" flip. The "developer" filled out a basic template in the craptastic Construct 2 toy video game construction kit (a blight on gaming), changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game. azimuth team have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. One example of azimuth team doing this is [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/828230]Dungeons of the dead[/url], which is really the "[url=https://learn.unity.com/project/2d-roguelike-tutorial]2D Roguelike Tutorial[/url]" asset, written by the actual developers, Unity Technologies. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.
