To find a game featuring something that actually scares me is very rare so I had to try Crabmeat. There are things I disliked about the game but the positives won me over. You find yourself the sole crew member of a crabbing vessel and are tasked with catching enough crab to settle a debt to the state. The game has a unique way of movement. You must look at a point and click it to walk there. This is initially quite awkward but I did quickly get used to it and completely understood why the devs made it this way, it helps to create pressure. Ngl, this game was boring. You are pretty much just sailing around and doing chores and fighting the same two types of crabs; small stationary ones, or big ones that walks around your ship. The controls are all mouse, very wonky and could easily have been WASD. There is no progress for any of the tedious chores you do, and travel distances can be long and unrewarding. On the positive side; the actual mechanics around the crab catching is good, but with no rewards, or upgrades or actual gain from doing these tasks, there really is no reason to actually play this, beyond maybe getting a small handful or mini-spokes by finding a corpse in your crap pot or so.. 3/10

I did not look at any of the photos or promo videos for this game, I walked in thinking it was just going to be a fishing game but I soon found out it wasn't. Pretty fun/cool game for 8 bucks.

Pretty fun and interesting game. Only complaint is the movement, they use click movement instead of standard wasd and it is SUPER annoying. Otherwise really interesting and fun and definitely worth it.
