Players praise this game as an engaging roguelike that improves on the Vampire Survivors formula with more skill-based gameplay, impactful character progression, and fun build variety through essences and stats. The main complaint is that difficulty spikes significantly, making runs feel overwhelming for some players despite the otherwise enjoyable moment-to-moment gameplay and reasonable price point.
Really fun variation on Vampire Survivors/Boneraiser Minions and Hades/Binding of Isaac. It's more engaged than Vampire Surrivors, needs more aiming and dodging, but has a similar progression during a playthrough. When you die, you want to start all over again! So if you like any of these games, it's definitely worth trying this. P.S. Great to see controller support, my preferred way to play this genre.4 found this helpful

Crocogame is a challenging but very fun game! Each play session lasts a short time, and the gameplay is pretty intense. The game's stats feel impactful and balanced. They also work very well with each other. The essences feel fun and can change the combat approach in interesting ways.
