About Crushing Blow
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players universally criticize Crushing Blow for poor hitbox detection, unreliable tool mechanics beyond the hammer, and frustrating controls that make the core gameplay feel unresponsive and unfair. The game's simple destruction concept has some initial appeal, but the lack of polish, repetitive gameplay, and minimal depth fail to sustain engagement beyond a few minutes. Many reviewers dismiss it as low-effort shovelware that prioritizes quick monetization over actually functional game design.
Crushing Blow is more lazy shovelware from shovelware pushers and asset flippers at Volens Nolens. Yeah, they're using some shell accounts to hide their identity with this game, but the trail of pollution left by asset flippers on Steam is easy to follow. This lazy shovelware is a basic mobile app like physics toy game where you tap on your iPhone screen to destroy a number of asset flipped objects as they fall into a large concrete bin. You have to destroy them quickly or the bin will overflow and that's how you lose. You also lose by playing the game, because it's that bad. You get three "tools" to destroy with, a hammer, a saw and a magnet, but the hammer is the only thing that works properly/reliably, which is a great indicator of the shovelware/cash grab nature of this garbage. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the …5 found this helpful
Crushing Blow, developed by Igor Litvinsky and Pavel Voronik and published by Litvinsky himself, is a small-scale indie arcade game that embraces simplicity and chaos as its core design philosophy. Released on Steam in 2017, it presents itself as a destruction-based reaction game that tasks players with crushing, sawing, and tossing a variety of objects across multiple levels. It is a title that lives and dies by the satisfaction of its tactile feedback—the immediate thrill of smashing things apart—but beyond that surface-level enjoyment lies a very limited experience that struggles to sustain long-term engagement. The game’s strength lies in its straightforward concept and cathartic design, while its weaknesses stem from repetition, lack of polish, and minimal gameplay depth. The gameplay of Crushing Blow is as direct as its title suggests. Players are dropped into compact arenas where the goal is to meet specific objectives under time pressure—destroying objects, recycling metal parts, or reaching a certain score threshold before the clock runs out. The player is equipped with a variety of destructive tools such as hammers, saws, and mechanical contraptions that allow for quick …1 found this helpful

Saw Sensivility is Suck, Magnet is Too Short enough to lose Bad control
