Crystal Eyes

After an hour of play and feeling like I've gotten nowhere, I'm just going to wait until this is out of Early Access before I start again. The graphics are good, with a lot of detail in the characters and environments. The music is alright, as well as the sound effects. The map design is alright, but there's a pretty severe lack of direction as to what you really ought to be doing at any given time. So I spent almost the majority of my playtime trying to figure out where to go. I'd get there, do something like a sword so I could move out of the very starting area - only to be stuck shortly after because I can't figure out what exactly I need to do. I guess I should say I have a pretty solid idea of what I'm supposed to do. I just have no idea of where to go to find the things I need. And after running around in circles for the 5th time and making no ground in that way I've hit a stopping point. It's probably good enough for those of you less dense than I to jump into, but now's not the right time for me.

So far I am really enjoying the game, and for only $4 it seems worth it already. I can feel the homage to older games such as Secret of Evermore and similar ARPG titles. I did play the demo and it made me want to buy the full game, try the demo and see for yourself. Good job devs, keep it up and maybe you will release more games like this at a higher level!
