Dicey Dungeons

Fun little roguelike. I really enjoyed it

Lost ten times in a row as Witch in EP1, didn't even see the final boss once. Wasted an entire afternoon and didn't feel any sense of accomplishment. WTF? The difficulty is unreasonable. I am happy to leave a positive review if it's fixed.

Pretty solid game. If I don't know what to play, its nice to throw this on while I hang out on call with friends or something. Great for casual quick gameplay sessions, and super charming visuals and aesthetics to it! The different characters give the game a good bit of replayability too, since they all work pretty differently rather than just being the same base set of abilities with a new coat of paint. There's definitely times where this games reliance on luck and RNG mechanics actually is its downfall. Obviously, a game focused on dice as the main hook is gonna be really luck based, but it sometimes leaves me feeling like any strategizing I do with my build is worth little to none. Its not like that a MAJORITY of the time, though, so I'm willing to accept that LOL.

Never thought you could make dice RNG actually fun but here we are The UI is super clean, plenty of characters to unlock and the first levels aren't even that easy, there's a nice little progression and enough stuff to keep coming back I mostly play it while traveling on my Steam Deck, it's really my little game when I have 5 minutes to kill and it works perfectly on it, controls feel like they were made for the Deck Won't be my game of the year but I really enjoyed it and keep coming back for another quick run

RNG is very frustrating and theres nothing I can do about it
