Warning: Asset Flip! This is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, the "developer" took a bunch of Unity Asset Store assets and dumped them on a basic Unity platformer template.
"Culinary Wizard" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is perhaps slightly more than just a basic Unity platformer game blueprint with a cooking skin on it... but not much more. This is at the very least a "Digital Homicide" style asset flip. The use of a bunch of flipped assets for the pixel backdrops and tilesets is plagiarism at best, and it shows little effort or creativity went into making yet another garbage platformer on Steam. An example of the flipped/stolen assets here is the Pixel Art Platformer Village House by the real developer, Cainos. It is new but it looks old. I like it. My Xbox controller works. This game is on my external memory card. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can use my external memory on any machine logged into this account. I can continue where i left on my game after a ::FACTORY RESET:: In my case I can just pick a different operating system or Rewrite the one I am using now. I was told in research that the official steam devices should work with my external memory as well. _________________________________________________________________ So yes the games that i bought they are really my personal games. They will always be in my steam library. I am not stuck on one device somewhere. ::Don't spent $1,000 on a mini pc or lap top before checking out steams products:: The advantage of steam machines are that you can upgrade the GPU. Some mini pc and Lab tops do not allow you to upgrade the GPU and they are soldered inside. As far as things going digital, Steam is more affordable for me. Times are Hard.

If I paid money for this, I'd probably be disappointed, but it really is a fun little platformer. There are a few issues I have with it (basically everything but the art and sound are simply "OK"), but you can't really complain about a free game that's so close to being good.
