About Curation
As the architect, designer, and curator, it’s your job to transform an empty plot of land into a cultural landmark. Create an unforgettable experience for your NPC visitors by selecting, buying, and placing artefacts throughout your new museum. If they have a great time, they might even donate a little cash before heading out!Design your museum from the ground up! Drag out walls and create uniquely shaped rooms to give your museum a one-of-a-kind layout. A range of customisation options means you can expand and modify your building, tailoring each room for the ultimate visitor experience.Populate your museum with fascinating artefacts from around the cosmos. Strategically place each piece to catch visitors' attention and maximise engagement. The more intrigued they are, the more they’ll donate, letting you reinvest in your museum’s development.
Your museum layout isn't just aesthetic – it’s a bustling ecosystem. NPC visitors are highly reactive to their surroundings, showing happiness (and generosity) when pleased, and behaving unpredictably if something goes wrong. And be careful not to trap them; unhappy accidents can occur if visitors find themselves stranded in the vast halls of your museum.Winner of the TIGA Creative Assembly Best Student Game award in 2024, Curation has been celebrated for its delightful art style, inclusive design, and unique soundtrack. Lose yourself in an immersive museum-building experience with a touch of whimsy, and a sense of wonder.Build the museum of your dreams, delight your visitors, and leave a lasting impression—it's time to curate your masterpiece!

I built a museum, put a muscle car and a catapult next to each other because it made sense. This UFO keeps grabbing my customers and whisking them somewhere. Theres someone in my walls, I think he wants someone to talk to. I put at least 2 vending machines in every single room to maximise profits, theres sometimes a curse that puts statues in front of the entrance like security guards. Other than that business is booming! 10/10 Game. The soundtrack is super relaxing. Graphically, the game is super charming, and so are the descriptions for artefacts. And I now run a museum with only a few cases of imprisonment.3 found this helpful

I made the freakiest museum I could with the powers that were given to me. There was a guy constantly in my walls laughing at me, but the joke was on him, he was part of the attraction. There was some ghosts in the back as well, but if the guests don't see them that's fine - also read the descriptions, there's lore to be found Curation DLC when????2 found this helpful
The best part about this game is hands down the building aspect - yes you have to suspend your disbelief a little - but it's incredibly satisfying putting things together. The music is nice and somewhat nostalgic, reminiscent of old school Minecraft. Also the auctions are very addicting; I ended up tearing down walls to be able to afford that damned beautiful brontosaurus. I'm happy with my purchase and had a lot of fun playing - can't ask for more!1 found this helpful
Absolute clickfest of busy work. I don't know if there's any strategy here beyond the curse system, and the decorations/customization is lacking to make it interesting without that.
