this is a great first indie game for the dev! it's run and gun but stands out with its unique aiming mechanic and fleshy visuals. the main game is pretty short, but there's a nice variety of weapons, enemies and bosses. there's a few extra modes as well that change up the formula and have unique enemies. if you like classic run and gun platformers like mega man, or if the art direction looks interesting, give it a try! i'll definitely be trying the other games from this dev. great work :)

If original Doom had been a side-scrolling platformer, it might have been like Cynoroid. Fluid gameplay + controls, great tutorial, indie =) Reminds me of: If you like games like Metal Slug and/or enjoy retro inspired indie titles, there's a good chance you'll like Cynoroid. I really appreciated the tutorial, and that everything just flowed well and worked. No bugs, no oddities. Great controls really made the game feel fair; if I died, it was my fault completely. The gore and death animations of the baddies are fantastic - was oddly satisfying ;)
