Listen I played this game for a half an hour before being completely fed up. It is clearly a Splintercell Conviction rip off. Some of the sneaking animations and cover idle animations are literally the same. The character is even just "Sam Fisher but with a hood and a vampire". I know what you're thinking. That sounds ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lit right? No it isn't. It is impressively flawed and difficult to play. And I don't mean difficult like Dark Souls or something. I just doesn't feel good to control from the very first moment and the tutorial to gameplay doesn't help. This takes what Splintercell Conviction, and Aragami does, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suuuuuucks at it. I wanted to like it so bad. I'm a former emo goth guy who grew up reading the original Crow comics so this was like, right on that vibe. Right now my game time says 42 minutes and I'm siting here debating whether I just lower my expectations to see what it does, or just go play Splintercell or Aragami. Seriously look at that cover animation and compare it to Sam Fisher. They ripped it straight out, even the cover hopping system. But instead of sneaking or diving to the next cover you just "popoom" in a shadow skip that is obviously there…2 found this helpful
Good lord does Dark suck ass to play, awful controls and the level design hates you. I was willing to sit through this because i love me some cheesy vampire shenanigans and i haven't played a proper stealth game in a while, but it just ain't worth it. Banger music playing in the hub of the game tho, not bad. https://youtu.be/wLySSnnTFgQ1 found this helpful
Enjoyed it a lot.1 found this helpful
A blast from the past. Played it around the time of its release, and you will know this game only if you experienced it firsthand. Those were the times of the mid-2000s. The main song I still love very much and have it in my YouTube favourites, but the game itself, although not bad, lacks polishing. Don't play tough and play it on easy with proper saves, as there are very frustrating moments. And be prepared that it is an old-school stealth similar to Styx, so no face-rolling and hand-to-hand combat. If you're okay with that, then I can recommend this game.1 found this helpful
Not bad. It's a vampire themed stealth game like a B movie vampire metal gear(stealth mission wise)? Fun way to pass the time and enjoy the 'stealth challenge'.
This is the worst stealth game I ever had the dishonor of playing. It also has the worst vampire story too! (seriously)
