Mistakes from the previous game were fixed. The slowliness of acquiring a combined "item" is faster and the items are far better hidden now too. This one also feels somewhat more like the previous Dark Parables. Brienne, the Red Hood Huntress is overly beautiful and puts a shame to the other characters in previous games... Lol... They tried their hand at different puzzles. Harder rules. Can't say my brain followed all of 'em, but alright. Still fun/relaxing. Thanks you! :D :> :) (This game gives me a "False Positive" upon installation and well... Being a VN reader that's nothing to freak out about. (Unless you got it from a shady place that is...) But if it unsettles you, then there is your warning.)

Excellent fragmented objects scenes and puzzles, lovely visuals and soundtrack, wonderful story, and best of all, well-written dialogue and flavour text! Also, the shapeshifting objects are back! Serving a different purpose this time (they're the "Parables" collectible items), but back! Congratulations, devs: you have redeemed yourselves. I did find one bug in that maze puzzle to to take down the second barrier in the ruins: anytime the hourglass thing moved to one specific square of the maze, it would move all the way to the top left corner of the screen, putting the "move this piece left" button out of the mouse's reach, and rendering victory unattainable. Had to skip that one to proceed. The constellation stones were also given the wrong names (the W-shaped constellation is supposed to be called Cassiopeia, the kite-shaped one, Aquila, and the other one, Orion), but that's just me being nitpicky. Those worked as intended.

I like sand, it's coarse and rough and gets everywhere

I am quite proud of myself for this game because I challenged myself to never use the hint button, no help in HO scenes, and not a single puzzle skip, and I did it! I will now pat myself on the back. As for the game, it's great. The puzzles are so hard! I loved them so much. Quite a few were hair pulling, but rewarding to solve. HO scenes were beautiful. Plotline was interesting, but I am curious what inspired them to combine the sandman myth with Beauty and the Beast, but whatever. Gorgeous game, and a great entry to the series.
