Student game of the outgoing promotion of objectif 3D. Dawn of Light is a first person shooter, the protagonist is the deity of darkness who, after centuries wakes up in an unrecognizable desert world. Many enemies will try to block your way and send you back to your sleep... permanently.

Achievements were buggy mess and there were occasional frame drops. Stereotypical Unreal Engine problems. Other than that though, I have seen way worse and this was a bug-free (in terms of gameplay) and enjoyable little game imo. I think it is worth a shot if you have a strong GPU. I played with a chinese 3080Ti with bumped up 16 gigs memory and I could get around 100 FPS on 1440p display so I can imagine some people unable to play with sh1tty cards like 1050Ti or so. Know your hardware's capabilities and then play it. I also used DXVK to translate garbage DX11 API calls to Vulkan. That definitely helped out a lot.1 found this helpful
Got to the last level and don't know why it dose not let me beat the game it might be a bug so i gave up. Can not recommend.
Interesting, fun and beautiful but when I enter the castle or whatever that last building should be my frames suffocate even though i have a pretty good PC. I'l give a thumbs up, but that game needs optimisation.
You play as some kind of creature that seems to have been accidentally woken up during a mining operation, so you promptly annihilate everything in your path. The graphics are kind of too good for my computer to render and I'm not a fan of the motion blur that you commonly see in this version of the Unreal engine. Music is a bit over the top, would've preferred if it was more atmospheric. But it's an okay FPS game.
