Dead TD is a tower defense game that was inspired by the old school original maps. It features a wide range of towers that upgrade into more powerful types and features a range of different abilities that can be used to create the ultimate defense.

Build and Block using Towers! Create a maze or redirect monsters to group them up!

Pick from 8 Base Towers! Each tower having 3 possible upgrade paths!

Level up a hero, with 3 different classes, each with a variety of skills!

Battle against a variety of monsters including flying, stealth, immune, and attacking!

Currently features 12 levels, endless mode, and option for hardmode.

Those interested can also utilize the map editor to create their own levels!

The basic framework of what might become a decent Tower Defense game, and there still seem to be updates, so bonus. The graphics are ugly, but that's not really an issue for me. The controls seem to work, and the sound is okay. There are a wide variety of monsters. The main varieties are flying, stealth and attackers which can damage your towers. In addition there are some with elemental shielding against certain attack types. There is a healer type, one who summons hounds, and one that turns into rats when killed. The top of the line monster however is a dragon, that flies wherever it wants, damages and destroys towers and is quite the challenge. Luckily he never seems to attack the base. Sadly the ground monsters can stand pretty much on top of each other, and quickly become the monster equivalent of a human centipede. They seem to clip on every bit of terrain and gun as well. The towers match the elemental defenses of course, there are slowing units and the basic gun and cannon. They do allow target selection, though I am not sure it works very well, as I selected 'special unit' when the medic monster was on the field, and that tower continued to shoot whichever one was fir…

Good, cheap Tower Defense that pushes the right buttons.
