DeadTruth is an episodic, puzzle-based, first-person horror adventure, featuring a complex and emotional story, filled with dark and mysterious secrets. DeadTruth: The Dark Path Ahead is the first episode of the DeadTruth series.
This game is based in solving puzzles. If you like games with tricky, challenging puzzles, this game is for you!
Synopsis:
You play a character named Michael Anderson who's life from loss of his loved ones, turned upside down into his worst nightmare. Despite of losing both of his parents and wife by the tragic events, another recent tragedy struck Michael's life- mysterious dissapearance of his brother Lusifer. The haunting sarrows of terrible deaths, led Michael to the dark trail of using drugs. Despite of constantly being surrounded by the never resting terror of loss and sadness, Michael finds the only spark of hope left inside of him and steps into the unknown to find his missing brother and uncover the truth behind the terrible accident.. But as further he walks into the darkness, the more he realises that the chance of life he left behind, was completly faded the moment he stepped into the shadow, as he slowly started to become the shadow himself.

Game looked good but played like garbage. A bit clunky on controls and overall the game kind of got boring real fast.3 found this helpful
I Find an Axe and a Key and then a Dog had Entered the Room...
I'm just so bored of battery, flashlight, camera that run out all the time. That mechanic is played out and game is just rough to play feel like i am playing on a ps1 where every door is a loading screen.

Сюжет интригует с самого начала, предлагая неожиданные повороты и моральные дилеммы, которые заставляют задуматься. Графика впечатляет, детализация окружения и персонажей на высоком уровне, что усиливает эффект присутствия. Саундтрек идеально дополняет происходящее, создавая нужное настроение. Несмотря на некоторую сложность, игра затягивает и заставляет возвращаться, чтобы разгадать все тайны этого темного пути. Рекомендую всем любителям жанра, готовым к серьезным испытаниям.

ought DeadTruth thinking it was a hidden indie horror gem. Turns out it was hidden for a reason. – Graphics from the PS2 timeline – Walked into a room, got stuck in a chair, called it “immersive” – Voice acting sounds like someone recorded on a microwave – Jump scares so bad they cured my fear – Plot? Something about a daughter… maybe? Or taxes? I honestly don’t know – Picked up a flashlight and instantly felt disappointment – Doors don’t open. Game does — to regret. – 10/10 psychological horror… because it mentally damaged me DeadTruth doesn’t scare you. It just slowly breaks your will to keep playing.
