When you say Delta Force, all knowledgeable gamers will think of a long series of PC games from Novalogic, in which you can put yourself in the role of an elite soldier of the special military units "Delta Force". For those who might not know, these units are deployed on exceptionally dangerous missions and only in special cases or complex situations. They often move deep behind enemy lines and in enemy territory, where they participate in, for example, liberation or purely sabotage actions. And that's what this old-new game is all about. The authors offer a total of 40 levels from the first part of Delta Force - 20 of the best for singleplayer and the same number for multiplayer. In singleplayer, you can try out a total of three campaigns - Peru, Chad and Novaya Zemlya. In them you will deal with drug lords, rescue hostages, even help the Russian special military units Spetsnaz in the fight against separatist forces, eliminate the resistance of local South American militias, etc. The old Delta Force in a better guise, but it is still a game from 2005 and if there is to be some kind of remaster of an old game, it really shouldn't look like this. Old Delta Force scope is back! But the game is just junk. But the funny kind! So thumbs up.
Really showing it's age but I absolutely can't judge it for that. Good for some dumb fun and action with a short little 4 hour campaign. Price is borderline criminal so wait for a sale.

The franchise killer of Delta Force, the exact moment when it began crushing down. This is the full remake of the first game plus some new levels. Overall, it feels very raw and lacking something. If you don't want to play the very first game - this is not the identical copy of it, it does not play the same, it does not feel the same. If you don't think of it as the ''revamped'' version of the 1998 Delta Force, it actually plays a tiny bit better. It's still passable, and you should give it a go in case you want to play all of the DF games. It's quite small and short anyway.
