10/10 Classic!4 found this helpful
AI is still junky, but man, the weapons are satisfying (and you can one shot a man with a pistol from 200m, but who cares) and the map has the pyramids!1 found this helpful
What is this? Another taxpayer-funded safari?
Delta Force game series stepped into 2000's way better than I expected - from what I know, they were always behind when it comes to graphics - I mean, can you compare first game to games that were coming out that time? 1998?! Launching this one I was expecting same pixel-hunting voxel-jumping game. Well, I wasn't dissapointed, but the graphics did improve, as well as gameplay itself. It was actually fun. With this game developers try to go a bit future/experimental when it comes to weapons - that being, your arsenal has changed, and your operations are rather agressive.
Pros:
-Better graphics, comparing to previous titles. I can still see voxels on mountains, yet it's soothen down so well you barely notice -Finally ACTUALLY new weapons - my god, we stepped right into that weird era of Future Guns that never made it. OICW? Jackhammer? G33? My god that was fun time... -Now they introduced characters. They have specialties and perks, I guess. -Dungeons. Yeah, developers started flexing on that. From pyramids to bunkers to... bunkers... ehm... Well, still cool. -Short and actually quick missions. Beated them in 2 hours, ha…
They need to patch in the Maduro mission like right now. As a Venezuelan, I want this, I need this.
a good old game looks well dated now but still loads of fun to play, old school games rock!
My go to shooter from 2004! For future reference I used this sources to make it playable in 2025: https://www.reddit.com/r/deltaforce/comments/1iz3qsy/delta_force_classic_games_anyone_having_graphical/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BzHqtrwdRw https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pr7_RQY-MO2H7zt5FD2-ydnk9FCfddsU/view?pli=1 (Extract to desktop, copy all the files to Delta Force game folder in steam) For streaming on OBS to twitch, I used these settings: https://imgur.com/a/mx5K1le
