About Derelict Void
Derelict Void is a space survival adventure in which you have to manage your base and scavenge for resources.
You command a ship and its crew with the objective of staying alive.
The game is ruthless and unforgiving which will force you to learn and improve in order to succeed.
It must have been an accident. An entire star system’s worth of ships have abruptly been torn away from the universe they knew. It’s up to you to salvage the remnants of civilization.
Damaged and disoriented, can you and your crew scrape together enough of civilization to survive?
Navigate through procedurally generated treacherous debris and stranded ships to discover the secrets of the void.
How did this happen? What else might lurk in this debris field? Can you find a way back?
Take risks and make the right choices to survive.
Help others stranded in the void, or leave them behind to save yourselves. Make stops to scavenge for supplies, or burn the resources you have to gain speed. Choose wisely, or fall victim to the void.
Managing resources is critical to your ship’s survival.
Salvage supplies to expand your ship, feed your crew, manage morale on board. You’ll have to balance it all to keep the ship going for another day.
As more survivors join the craft, only a robust network of factories can sustain them.
Puzzle your way to victory - how many can you save?

This game has a major game breaking bug. Whenever I load a new game, the ship doesn't show up. neither does the tutorial pop-up or the help window. first time trying to play the game, and will never play the game again. -10/104 found this helpful
If you want an unforgiving game, play Dark Souls without armor. If you want to embrace masochism as a religion, play Derelict Void. Otherwise, I cannot even remotely pretend to recommend this game to anybody.3 found this helpful
Waste of money. The tutorial tells you what buildings are what and such but, leaves you with no clue if resource gathering is automatic or if you can leave the ship to go find some i each sector you're in. In the beginning you basically sit there scratching your head trying to figure out exactly what you are suppose to do. I am gettig a refund. This game makes zero sence in the beginning.
If you're the kind of person who is into making strategies in spreadsheets then you'll probably enjoy this game. Although I don't feel there's much replay value. I don't think there are any alternative routes throught the game, but you can play at higher difficulties.
Steep learning curve. Balance your resources by assigning a crew member to specific buildings. "Increasing" is not true as you can still die. It seems there are fluctuations, so always maintain a surplus. This game needs to allow you to move components around on a ship, especially a warehouse. Searching for the right hull that will allow you to connect your hydroponic farm to a warehouse, gas storage and liquid storage is crucial. Paired with a water treatment plant next to an oxygen scrubber works best. Good luck, it is fun once you get through the rough beginning.
I will preface this by saying that I would NOT get this game at it's full price, however, I got it on sale at $4 so that's where I'd say "sure". It's a fairly short game with just a few choices to make and not a full explanation on how things work. For example: Buildings that aren't the normal immovable ones can actually boost other buildings. It's not explained, but it seems that if one building outputs oxygen and another one uses it, then the one using it gets a boost by a small amount. There's enounters that get what appear to be no explanation at all. I'll just say butter is involved and I kept going trying to find another instance after failing the first time I saw it and never saw anything again. There are also options in the game that I was never able to figure out that were locked. Namely: the last choice. The game is pretty punishing to start with. You WILL lose. Sometimes the game decides to not give you that one resource you need to live until literally the last possible moment where you have 4 hours left and it takes 7 to get to the place that has it even at full speed. It can be entertaining, but I can safely say that I won't be returning to this game. I only gave…
