In a grim dystopian future, where mankind has scattered across the galaxy and the human society has split into two distinct classes, you are a poor stateless outcast forced to live off scraps from derelict alien stations and ships in the outer space, yet you dream of becoming a privileged citizen and living on the surface of a habitable planet, enjoying non-synthetic air, water and food. A fabled alien derelict ship somewhere within the Deep Sky sector of space is your voucher for a citizenship and a promise of cozy life on a hospitable planet.
Build and control a squad of up to three mercenary characters and set on to explore derelict ships within your reach from the scavenger's base. Searching the derelicts for loot and clues, you come across many friendly inhabitants and traders, but more often – various enemies. Challenge and defeat them in tactical turn-based fights, where randomly-drawn cards form your changing arsenal of combat actions, gain experience for yourself and your crew, loot dead bodies, resupply and upgrade once back at your base. The scavenger's home ship gives you the opportunity to heal and level-up your mercenaries, recruit new ones, equip them, upgrade their gear or recharge energy for life support during missions.

[h1] Decent tactical game with card usage. Visuals and characters are great. Gameplay is contextual and looks like this: first move around map using scanner, you can either search environment in some cases or begin battle when landing on tile with encounter. Battle is turn based and you can use ability cards for each character or use boost to draw another 2 cards but drain 100 energy. When energy runs out it's game over so make sure to get back to starting point on time. On some tiles you can restore part of energy. Moving on to battles. Health and shields are available so make sure to defeat enemies fast or they can regenerate shields with ability cards (if they have such card). When starting game choose 3 characters from a few classes available, good combo is a mix of melee, ranged and support like medic. Gameplay is about exploring derelicts in space and getting back with loot or completing quests. Occasionally stumble across some characters which you can talk to, weird dialogs are intended in some cases. Music is ok and changes in combat mode. Game is missing on some speed up options like slider for animation time or general speed up, at least gameplay is not slow so just click…5 found this helpful
Game looked fine but stuck at very beginning of first mission due a BUG that prevents moving and can be fixed only by restart the game... (it actually worked) 8 years after release, sorry, I dont care how good it can be (or how much more frustration bugs brings). Going to refund.2 found this helpful
Got the Game during Summer Sale event.. Nothing bad to say from my side... Been slowly building my characters and its been fun. Havn't run into any major balance issues. Just a simple turn based card game. really nothing more to say. Buy it on sale and its well worth the price.

so this is just my take away.. and it pains me to do so... i absolutely fell in love with it, the art style, the mechanics, the writing, the quests/story even things lacking or dereft just feels rightly weird in this setting no frills.. i've much exp in tactics games, and once i've found deckbuilders as a genre i love the idea.. ie: hand of fate, cardhunter etc.. there's much a challenge (or so i first thought) and the "difficulty" can be brutally punishing... but being apparently abandoned but still overly game breaking buggy at times.. on one hand the "difficulty" can be brutally punishing unfairly so.. while on the other, the "right picks" make the entire game laughably inconsequential... enough so i don't even feel like trying it anymore with that knowledge... which makes me sad.. cuz i love all of it.. for even a challenge i thought to try arena to keep it fresh, but it bug locks me up after the first encounter.. and with no more "fixes" in sight .. why i must give this a thumbs down..
