It would be unwise to purchase this game as it is quite broken. Often times, clicking on a card will not remove it, causing you to build up an infinite combo or having to start the level again. The first level of chapter five (Level 161) is actually permanently and reproducably broken in that it is impossible to complete it with a three star ratting, as clearing all of the cards does not end the level. You are forced to run the deck down anyway and then the level ends in faulure and only two stars. Unfortunately, this map is so far into the game that a refund is impossible. I verified this by beating the level 7-8 times between re-launches of the game. It is not possible to win it. If you are a completionist, this game will only frustrate you. I'm not one, and it still annoyed me to find a completely unwinnable level so far into the game. Do not buy this when there are much better solitaire games on Steam that function properly.1 found this helpful
A cute little casual game, Lighthouse Mystery Solitaire's name sums the game up perfectly. There's a mystery around a spooky old lighthouse and 200 rounds of solitaire. The game has five chapters consisting of forty rounds of solitaire and four Hidden Object scenes. Each HO scene is book-ended with story pieces around your main character and their sibling trying to solve the mystery. The game is cheap and you'll get around ten hours of play out of it. It was a fine calm little timewaster in-between RPGs and other games. Also, [spoiler] I was not expecting the game to go full Lovecraft, but considering how many Cthulhu oriented games I have played and own, this twist isn't surprising in retrospect. IA! IA! A great Solitaire & Hidden Object game. You play 10 rounds of Solitaire then a round of Hidden Object. It was OK -- just did not hold my interest. My only issue was the game achievements were only earned in the game not carried over to Steam. The numbers on the cards are a little odd looking but once you get past that then you are good to play.
One of my favourite games.
The story is terrible, dont play it for that. It is however a fairly engaging and at times challenging card game with powerups based progression. Worth a look for that.
