True Detective Solitaire 2 is one of several solitaire games by 8 Floor Games with the same game mechanic and extra's. It uses the chaining method, i.e. selecting runs of cards with increasing or decreasing values regardless of their suit. You can change the appearance of both the front and back of the cards in several ways via the options menu. There are two modes of play, Newbie and Expert. The expert mode is locked until you've completed the first set of levels from the newbie section. There are ten levels per set and 12 sets in each mode. When starting the game for the first time you can skip the tutorial that introduces you to the various mechanics such as the Shuffle, Joker and Mulligan cheats. Overall a nice little time waster and an ideal game to play in between more taxing or interesting games and definitely a coffee/tea break game. :) A couple of these solitaire games in your library is all you need, as every one of them are virtually the same game apart from the graphic; though there are a couple that do pairs instead of chaining runs. These 8 Floor solitaire games are often on 90% off deals (This one is until 6 pm today, the 29th Aug 22) https:…3 found this helpful
True Detective Solitaire 2 is a basic mobile-app like solitaire puzzle game. Solve various puzzle levels using Klondike style card moving and matching. It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit does. The "developer", Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game an insane SEVENTY TWO TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset: [list] [*] Dangerous Solitaire. Zombie Fever [*] Dark Solitaire. Mystical Circus [*] Detective Solitaire Inspector Magic and the Man Without Face [*] Detective Solitaire Inspector Magic [*] Detective Solitaire The Ghost Agency 1 + 2 [*] Detective Solitaire. Butler Story 1 + 2 [*] Detective Solitaire: Inspector Magic And The Forbidden Magic [*] Egypt Solitaire. Match 2 Cards [*] Fairytale Solitaire. Witch Charms [*] Fairytale Solitaire: Red Riding Hood [*] Gnomes Solitaire [*] Holiday Solitaire Easter [*] Knight Solitaire 1-3 [*] Mystery Solitair…2 found this helpful
Full disclosure: I got this on sale for .49 cents USD. This is the first title I've played in the detective series, so my review will be based off of other themed solitaire games by the same dev. Firstly, the music was new to me, which was nice. This dev tends to recycle music, and I've heard the same songs in solitaire games about lunch and Easter jigsaw puzzles. The layout is different too, more like some of the other series, with the shop button being included in each button. I skipped the tutorial, so it took a while to figure that out. Other than that, it's the same bells and whistles. You can select the card faces and backs. And this time there are unique backgrounds for each area. I think it makes the game a few areas smaller, but it's nice all the same. Overall, it's a pleasant title. I'd suggest seeing all the solitaire titles by this dev and picking out the theme you enjoy most and go from there. I have so many myself that I tend to wait for sales and pick up additional titles.1 found this helpful
Its just basic solitare, runs pretty well and is kind of fun to play. Not really much else to say.1 found this helpful
