Devil Spire is a fantastic rogue-like with sandbox approach, that combines RNG with skill for an infinitely enjoyable loop.
Flows

First-Person hack&slash, always a +.
Very smooth gameplay. Think Daggerfall but without the junk.
Huge variety of enemies, properly balanced.
Multiple game modes.
A fantastic variety of builds, strategies and combinations to discover. I unironically kept a notebook near me where I wrote down the results of different ingredient combinations.
The rules that apply for you apply for your enemies as well. Not a bad game but not for me.
It's got enough of a gameplay loop to keep you entertained for the price. Unfortunately, runs do get rather tedious and they don't differ all that much even across the varying game modes. I look forward to playing Devil Spire Falls once it's out of early access.
Very fun Rougelike just take your time and you can get super strong. now that the spire has fallen i wonder whats next......
Confusing - not the good kind. Too clunky and just not very fun, sadly. It looked like my type of game, but just doesn't hit the mark.
Don't!
