Dice of Kalma

Dice of Kalma is an amazing foundation, decoration, and furnishings for a game, but the house was never built While having skulls can help, the key word is can, because without some way to tip your odds of a certain roll the only outcome is that synergies don't matter, only getting lucky, unless you want the safest, least fun gameplay, you will have to flip a coin each level on if you will have a chance win or not, then if you make one mistake, or took one off skull, thats it, run over For this problem, I have two different fixes. One, add some kind of nudge machanic, that would allow you to force the die one pip lower or higher, this could also introduce some new variations on skulls, maybe appearing along side the reroll skulls. Two, allow skull rerolls to instead be spent on changing a die face, so that certain dice will be more or less likely to roll certain faces.

I keep falling asleep to this game, luckily i got endstation and dice with death and they seem to be more exciting. Maybe play a demo of this to see if it is worth the cheap price...

It isn't as crazy as Balatro, but it's still quite fun, especially for the price. The pixel art, music, and the interactions you can have with Kalma are a nice touch.

Takes a bit to get the hang of, but once you find how YOU want to play, you're rolling. A fun mix of Yahtzee and Balatro with a simple and pleasing to the eye aesthetic. I've gifted this game to folks because it's so fun. I love that you can also play it with any of the moving and action buttons on the Deck. If you're looking for a sign to buy this game, this is it. Enjoy.

Worth the price, as a fan of deck builders I immediately understood what Dice of Kalma was trying to do. Recommended if you're into the genre.
