Info:

Dismantled is a survival-horror game about a mad doctor who do experiments on animals and people, sewing parts of them together to create inhuman abominations.
It is inspired by old Resident evil games, The suffering games, and by old B-movies, It is built in the GzDoom engine, and is First person as well.
Be aware that my game is full of shocking content and nudity, but for that matter it also contain a censored edition that removes the nudity.

This package include:

-Original edition of the game
-Censored edition of the game (still gory but without any nudity)
-Old school edition (Gameboy like graphics)
-The original free demo of Dismantled released on Halloween 2017 (the canon story of Vincent hyle)
-The expansion pack BitterSweet Misery

Explore an old asylum filled with corpses, experiments and creatures.

Solves puzzles set up by a mad scientist, dig the secrets of the old asylum.

Fight for your survival against all the creatures that inhabit the asylum.

Dismantled is, in my opinion, a hidden horror gem in the indie space that was sadly overlooked even to this day. It is a delightfully demented and disturbing horror romp from start to finish, it's like if someone took the original FPS and story concepts of the original Resident Evil while it was in development, and made that a reality using the LZDoom engine. It has tons of inspirations from movies like SAW, Martyrs, Hostel, etc and even some classic Frankenstein elements all wrapped up in a really messy but very enjoyable first person survival horror package. It is very amateurish in places, with many spelling and voice acting mistakes, it can be downright unfair at times, it can be overly edgy and just about every element is rough around the edges. But it's a game with a lot of heart and soul despite all of its problems and is genuinely one of the scariest games I've played in a while, with incredible atmosphere, tension and knowing even a goofy looking enemy can rip you to shreds with ease makes exploration and combat even more panic inducing when ♥♥♥♥ does hit the fan. Pros: - Genuinely scary, with amazing atmosphere, tense situations and panic-inducing monster encounters - …

This is a great game that sadly flew under the radar of many. The horror, the puzzles, it's like a twisted version of Resident Evil. It's bold too, doesn't pull any punches with the gore, shocking content, and most of all, body horror. I can't recommend it enough to horror fans, I also recommend getting the Director's Cut, they are pretty different than each other. Beware though, both games are tough as nails.

Game is good if you enjoy Resident evil in a Doom engine. The game is pretty difficult even on Valiant especially with limited saves

What was supposed to be a simple journey toward a peaceful vacation quickly descends into a nightmare of blood, madness, and grotesque experimentation. Alone on a deserted road late at night, your trip comes to an abrupt halt when your car suddenly breaks down deep within a remote forest. With no signs of civilization nearby and darkness swallowing the road around you, the only option seems to be continuing on foot in search of help. The silence of the woods feels oppressive, broken only by the distant sounds of wind moving through the trees and the unsettling realization that something feels terribly wrong. Then, somewhere beyond the darkness, a horrifying scream echoes through the forest. Driven by curiosity and concern, you decide to investigate the source of the scream, believing someone may be in danger. It is the worst decision you could possibly make. That single moment leads you directly into a terrifying world hidden beneath the surface of the isolated wilderness — an abandoned asylum transformed into a laboratory of unimaginable horror. Inside its rotting walls lurks a deranged doctor consumed by obsession and insanity, a man who conducts grotesque experiments on both h…

This game was actually better than I expected. I also gifted it to a friend and I didn't wait for it to be on sell since the asking price was fair. Instead of buying the 8$ directors cut I opted to just get the original so I could also gift it. Might as well spread around the first one before buying the super duper special one. Some things you should be aware of, these things don't ruin the quality of the game to me as I wasn't expecting to get sucked into the game for over 30 hours and binge play it. Reason being is cause I love nightmares. Darkwood, pathologic, shadowman, blood omen, resident evil, silent hill, amnesia, I've beat all these games and I love the dark atmosphere in games like these. Nightmares can have an impact on peoples psyches, its our minds preparing us for eventual death. Its not exactly a positive thought but its true, one day we will die, be it by nature, human, old age, illness etc. One day we will die, and a nightmare is just preparing you for that (my thoughts on nightmares), the worst nightmares, are the loops that you can't wake up from. So when I get a good horror game, I want to beat it and see what happens. That's why I really enjoyed this game. I…
