About Divine Business: Fantasy Trading Simulator
Divine Business is that side of religion that no one ever think about. Why gods prefer to help ones and forsake others? What goal do they follow? Its time to take a look at this process from the place of God by yourself.
Unique mix of genres: We decided to try and mash up features that used to be a separate games before: Fantasy setting, multi-currrency trading and narrative storytelling.
Deep characters and world story: You are not just a religion trader, you actually influence nations destiny with your decisions. Other gods may not approve your methods, while mortals dont get you intentions at all.
Complicated AI trend algorhytm: In spite of first impression, its not so easy to predict raises and falls in world scale level. The formula we invented is adapting to player's actions and challenges him every second of gameplay.
Disasters system: More than hundred potential consequences of events, which you are still capable to prevent. Free the nations from suffering by the cost of your divinity or allow neccessery evil to happen.

✦ AI summary
Players have mixed reactions to this narrative-heavy management game about playing as demigods handling divine interventions. Supporters appreciate the creative premise, visual presentation, and narrative depth despite limited animations, while critics find the gameplay too passive and restrictive, comparing it to watching a dialogue-driven spreadsheet with minimal player agency or meaningful choices beyond simple blessing and cursing mechanics.
Sorry but i'm not recommending this game due to the fact its just a graph with options to curse then uncurse or bless then unbless. and dialog that has no editing the screen shots is 100% of the game. that is all there is to the game. there isn't any communication or dialog options its just them talking at you.14 found this helpful
Fantasy world inhabited by many various races with their own upheavals and deities to invoke in those hard times when every single soul suddenly starts to be religious - for somebody it's nothing more than an office. For Demigods we've already heard about, to be precise. As soon as it dawns, they start to deal with this supernatural stuff - you know, set the whole village on fire or summon a huge rain cloud to put it out. This game is like doing plenty of work instead of your boss, but this time he's the God. Every screwd up deadline literally means DOOM for one or several races. Your colleagues (actually, Demigods themselves) in a bad mood can angrily sneeze on mortals' harvest with pest or shake them up with frenetic earthquake. And quite often it's you to cope with consequences of their actions, intentional or reckless ones. The conception of how it feels to be a deity and what it takes to become "the employee of the month" seems extraordinary and fascinating to me. You're kind of a manager from the Abyss, after all. As for the gameplay, I strongly believe it'll become as good as the plot idea is, since Divine Business can surely find its fans. There are some disappointing…5 found this helpful
It looks like a lot of time have been invested in this game, lol, i have looked on the game contents and its not even protected from modding. A bit messy, but not as bad as other indies nowadays.2 found this helpful
Well it was a surprise to see someone to make a game about forex trading with dialogs and some mechanics. It is funnier than actual stocks trading, so i give it a recommend.2 found this helpful
Think Stoke market with a verry small amount of god flavor. No choices just eb and flow from what I saw.1 found this helpful
This game is nice at visuals and narrative despite of lack of animation. It have some challenge too, I barely pass Curse chapters. I hope that authors will improve it before it leaves EA, but at least this is a game.1 found this helpful
