About Dolmen
Dolmen casts players onto a hostile alien world known as Revion Prime.
Your job? Bring back samples of a crystal with particularly unique properties; the so-called "Dolmen".
These crystals are capable of allowing interaction between realities, revolutionising space exploration and changing the known world forever.

DYNAMIC COMBAT
In Dolmen you will grow stronger with each battle!
Experience a rich combat system with various weapons and moves at your disposal.
Switch natively between melee and ranged combat to overcome the most challenging enemies Revion Prime has to offer.

ENERGY MODE
Energy management is key to victory in Dolmen.
Energy is not only used for ranged weapons, but also for activating "Energy Mode".
"Energy Mode" imbues your melee weapons with elemental status effects, letting you take full advantage of your enemy's weaknesses.

DISCOVER A MYSTERIOUS PLANET
A devastated, darkly beautiful world is waiting to be explored.
Will you find all the secrets that Revion Prime has to offer? Or will this cruel world push you to the brink of death?

A CHALLENGE AWAITS
Surviving is the last thing this world wants you to do.
Will you see your timeline erased or will you overcome the challenge that awaits you?

ENCOUNTER GRUESOME BOSSES
Revion Prime offers a plethora of gruesome monstrosities that will put your skills to the test.

I watch a Youtuber that made his life goal to find more Dolmen like clones. Shout out to Oboe Shoes Games. Sure the combat is not perfect, it's a little stiff, your character doesn't switch from the gun to the melee fast enough. You can cheese enemies with the unlimited gun ammo, if you prefer to do so, it's an option. My Youtuber even made a guide on how to play the game and by that I mean on how to cheese the game by making it a breeze, by using the gun class. So I went for the exact opposite class, the heavy claymore, slow but hits a ton. Fine, I did cheese enemies with the gun here and there, so what? I mostly used the claymore. The game is lots of fun, a short linear with interconnected paths, a little metroidvenia with the exploration. Optional lore that tells a story that can be understood and followed, I'm looking at you Dark Souls. Perhaps it's a great souls game for a beginner, or medium experienced souls enjoyer, not for the senior player.10 found this helpful
i started dolmen on 20 may 2022 i pre ordered it for the rebel armor and i finally sit down to play it after many years of having it on the shelf "kinda forgot about it" but i am glad to say i finally 100% this game after a long time coming i am a dolman master . personal note - people where way too harsh on this game it was a real kickstarter with a indie team from brazil and people ragged on this game hard back in the day let that sink in it was not a "AAA" studio . i give you a little "for dolmen" greeting from "cpt . angel" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3699826705 i have some pros and cons to share with this community on what i have learned in my quest to save the dolmen ______________________________________________ tips to new players for XP farming spots you can get to level 125 fast doing these farming spots making this game super easy and this allows you to use all armors in game early game farming spot - "access cave" if you use the first xp farm get all skills to level 10 and you can use all early game armors in game in mark 3 late game farming spot - "Old Labs BioSphere 01" if you use the second xp farm you get all skills to l…6 found this helpful
Dolmen is an okay souls-like that does nothing particularly wrong but nothing particularly memorable either. If you enjoy the genre and catch it on sale it is worth a few hours of your time, but do not pay full price for something that exists comfortably in the shadow of better games.3 found this helpful
Not good, not bad. More good than bad. 6/10
this game is so good that i didnt even have to play it for fifteen minutes to understand how good it is
Pretty meh/average game, thanks to the mods, without it, it would be unbearable. Its worse than hellpoint, LOTF and mortal shell. BUT atleast better than immortal unchained, but only because this game is mostly linear and doesnt need to beat the game 7 times for an achievement. Cant really say much positives about it though. The story wasnt a banger. Boss designs were boring and some looked the same as normal enemies but bigger or they even put in the same boss 2 times in the game. One boss looked like has a unique mechanic, but turned out to be not the case, making it disappointing. Control, movement and fighting are chunky. Button layout is very confusing. The doors and elevators are not labeled or shown where they lead us, you cant tell if its opens up for the next room, or if itll force you to a loading screen to load into the next level and respawn every enemy. There are also trap floors that breaks when you step on them, and if you fall down to your death, then your exp and crystals will be exactly there on the location of the floor, where you fell down previously. And in order to pick it up again, you need to directly walk over it. Problem is, that the floors dont respaw…
