Doodle God: 8-bit Mania - Collector's Item

[b]DOODLE GOD: 8-BIT MANIA - COLLECTOR'S ITEM[/b], is a very simple puzzle game where you combined two items to make a new things. That is the whole game. It is the original "Infinite Craft", but with much less infinite. The logic in this game is quite ridiculous at times, and this is basically a mobile game ported to Steam. It is DEFINITELY not worth full price, and even at a lower price, it isn't quite an engaging experience. If you like these kind of puzzles, there really isn't anything "wrong" with the game. The game is short and at least it has a dictionary of the combinations you already discovered. Decided to focus on a few quick games to get them finished before I returned to streaming. This was one of the first, and it was clearly based on those many flash games where you mix elements. The storytelling as God was quite funny and cheeky too, in regards to calling out the hypocrisy too. Beyond that, there's unfortunately nothing really else of substance and some of the combinations really do depend on Moon Logic to solve them, leading me to use the hint button far too many times that I'd feel comfortable for confessing, but it's a fun short game to pass the time.

If you didn't like [b]Doodle God[/b], this version won't change your mind. But even if you liked the original, you will probably dislike [b]8-bit Mania[/b] because it's simply a downgrade that, trying to ride on the retro mania, presents graphics reduced to a bunch of icons over a simple background, without even a view of the world as it gets populated by discovered elements. Music gets grating fairly quickly. It also has the gall to ask the price you can see, for less content - only two episodes instead of four.

20$ for 2 episodes out of the original doodle god. The original game is cheaper than this, so just get that lol. (On sale though)
