Doom & Destiny

Probably the least funny game I have ever played. Story is garbage and is the equivalent of those bad genre-parody movies you'd see trying to cash in on the success of Scary Movie; none of the main characters are unlikeable, the "jokes" amount to D-tier reference humor most of the time, none of it makes any sense, but most egregiously it's painfully NOT FUNNY! Combat is fine, but fine won't do you no good in the realm of JRPGs, because there are a thousand other games with "fine" or better combat.

Boring 0/10 will not D & D again Just play Doom: Eternal instead this sequel is no good. Or even go with Sonic 3 if you're looking to scratch that nostalgia itch. This aint it, unc

I first played this game years ago on my Windows computer and absolutely loved it. Then, a few years later, I played it again on my phone. Now, a few more years have passed, and I bought it on Steam and I'm loving it all over again, just like it's my first time playing it. If you have a soft spot for 8 bit RPGs, or you've ever wanted to get into old school RPGs, Doom & Destiny is absolutely worth your time. It's also genuinely funny. I found myself laughing out loud more than once while playing. And even though the game takes place in a fantasy world, the story has a surprisingly modern and contemporary feel to it, which makes the humor and characters even more enjoyable. It's one of those games that I keep coming back to over the years, and I'm glad I finally picked it up on Steam. Highly recommended!
