This game is a love letter to the games of my childhood, made with passion in 9 years in the little spare time I got by a single developer from Italy. The music of the game is real medieval music, taken from the Montpellier Codex, rearranged by Luigi di Guida.
I hope you enjoy the world of Dotage!

I really wanted to like this game but it got boring way too quickly. Then, I made one mistake and the run was basically doomed (I was pretty far in my run and did not want to start all over again). For me it felt imbalanced and at times tedious. Not really my cup of tea. Do try the Demo first, before buying the game. I should have done the same.1 found this helpful
This game is about managing your resources and using them wisely. How good you are at managing will show by a good or bad event happening. Bad event: Your Village is wrecked by a hurricane, every building in its way is either heavely damaged or destroyed. Villagers unlucky enough in its path die an agonizing death which leads to you being short staffed and unable to feed your people, starving them and thus contributing to the next bad event, which may or may not be worse. Good event: a bloke found 3 copper up the mountain 10/10 great game
Amazing game! it's hitting the itch for so many things. How did I not find this gem earlier. 11/10
The easy mode allows me to have a stress-free experience. Predictable and adjustable, just how I like it... However, if you prefer to EMBRACE CHAOS, this is the game for you. You might be just calmly taking care of your village when all of a sudden idk a fricking METEOR destroys half of it and Young Peter goes on a KILLING SPREE. I still have tons to explore as I only played 6 hours, didn't unlock half the content, (the game belonged to an old friend). I still hope to purchase it someday and have tons more fun! Couldn't recomend it more: it's the most chaos filled simulator out there. You certainly not get bored unless you really hate ALL simulators.
Game is incredible. Music so iconic my eyes got watery when the title screen and OST played again.
I cannot believe how addicted I am to this game and I don't think I've ever played anything like it. highly recommend
