About Dr. Umgebung's School of Life
Dr. Umgebung's School of Life is a game about simulating life in small glass terraria.
You are attending a school where you earn how to mold life by tweaking the gas pressures and temperature inside a terrarium.
You'll start in your first year of attendance and have to complete different challenges each year to progress to the next. To do so, you can start a new empty terrarium practicum at any time and mess about!

Lacks instructions, and is pretty slow and boring once you do figure some things out. Heliopedia by the same devs has a similar theme but is much better.1 found this helpful
i have no clue what and how to play for me its just sit and wait.
this here's me homonculus
i dont care what anyone says about how "the mouse wheel scrolling is hard" or whatever, i made a plant live for atleast 52 seconds and im proud of it!
There is little to no explanation, not even keybinds. You have to use the scroll wheel to "press" buttons. There is some kind of handbook, but it just doesn't help at all. In the end all you do is try out random ♥♥♥♥ and hope that it works. Not a good game.
I would go for a neutral rating on this one, but I did kind of enjoy my time with it so I'll give it a pass :)! This very clearly is one of Sokpop's earier games; it's a fun concept, but it just hasn't been fleshed out enough. That combined with no tutorial or controls overview, very unclear (probably awkwardly translated) instructions and some goals being too easy to obtain, make this game feel a bit unbalanced and unfinished. It's a neat little toy to fiddle with for about an hour though!
