One of those were my RPGs, and from there I picked ones with smaller download sizes. Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria (DF) didn't use much space, so I went for it. It's a compilation of four small RPGs, functioning more as a set of mini-adventures. Despite the brevity, I didn't bother completing a playthrough of it.
Gameplay
Nostalgia is a powerful thing, as people still fondly remember older RPGs, even when they didn't necessarily function or play that well. I can't think of better examples than the NES Final Fantasy games, considering spells either didn't work as written, or didn't work at all. Such a masterpiece, when they didn't even code all the attacks properly. My reason for bringing that up is that DF is inspired by those old school titles, and I wasn't that fond of it. Looking at how…

Remember Dragon Warrior? Well this game is Dragon Warrior like it used to be...with some added humor. The game plays great...and looks great too from a nostalgic point of view. The humor is light and makes the game fun, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. If you want something that plays like an old NES RPG, then you have found it here. But if you like the current style of games like Final Fantasy 12 and up....you might want to avoid this. That is the easiest way to tell if you can handle this game and have a good time. I am glad i got it.

I'd give this a 4/10, I enjoyed it and got it on sale. But I feel there are better games out there, and there are too many other games I'd recommend before this. Cons: There were a couple spots where you had to do something tactical in battle, but it was far too much just hold down attack. Random overworld battles and unavoidable dungeon battle felt a little bit like padding. Mixed: music wasn't great, but I usually play with it off and spotify going. --A pretty short game that plays like four 2-hour games. First part had a lot of polish, but it seemed like the last 3 parts were just trying to add more to the game but it wasn't on the same level. Pros: I thought the animation was charming and dungeon design good. --Did some interesting things with the party members. --Didn't overstay it's welcome. --I enjoyed the story, there was a lot of thought put into it.

Really charming and chill game. In the "easier" side of gameplay, still a little challenging. Reminds me to classic Final Fantasy games. Lovely game at a good price.

This game was great on Vita, and it's amazing on steam deck. On desktop it's a bit rough, since it takes over everything and is a bit of a pain to deal with as a desktop game.
