Dragon's Lair

So I ran into the bug other people talk about - you get into the falling platform scene, and the controls won't work- you fall all the way to the bottom and die. But then, the scene restarts showing Dirk escaping....then the next scene is the falling platform, and the controls won't work. It loops until you run out of lives. It's 2026... could someone please patch this?

I told my mom about walten files episode 3 and she told me to play this game. I'm not really sure what the correlation is but the animation here is bangin

Turn on the prompts and it actually resembles a video game.

Great classic that I would recommend picking up if you wished you could beat the arcade cabinet. If you are a fellow achievement hunter, beware that this games achievements are extremely hard to achieve as you have to work around some frustrating bugs for a chance to have them unlock.

This game is a museum piece and I couldn't be more glad that it's widely available, that's the only reason that I'm giving the thumbs up sadly. There are so many problems with this game, I can't change the aspect ratio it would be great to have the 100% original footage, there are no video and audio options that I could find and the volume is too high at all times, I'm not sure if this is a thing for this re-release or it's from the original but I feel that the scenes get cut too short and I don't mean when you pass the QTEs, I mean the ending of many scenes where Dirk is leaving the room or something get cut short. The big one though is the menu, as I said there are no options to customise so the language of the game is from your PC (I guess) wich in my case would be Spanish, the menus don't work in Spanish, the text boxes were made for less text I wager and there are 'switches' in the new game menu that should say "on-off" well in spanish they say "Encendido-Salida" so it actually says "On-Exit" and since the words are way larger they overlap with the rest of the menu. Either way this is basically a Don Bluth short film and you HAVE to watch Don Bluth stuff if you're intereste…

I was not able to get into this game, even though the trailer gave me a distinct nostalic feeling. I believe that the choppy controls is what took me out of the gaming experience the most, as it was really hard to control the character. I'm not sure if that's how the original played as well, but it kept me from enjoying this game.
