Just as in the arcades, up to four players will select their character class before doing battle against the mythical beasts from the Dungeons and Dragons’ universe with a mix of melee, range and magic attacks.
Challenge System: A newly introduced RPG-like system that fits on top of the existing games and provides a myriad of challenges for players to complete. Players can level up and obtain Vault Coins to be used in the Vault. The Vault: A treasure trove of unlockables and gameplay loot can be purchased with Vault Coins earned via the Challenge System. Character Visualizer: This UI visualizer tracks which characters the players and their friends most often use. Players can utilize the tool to create a more balanced multiplayer dungeon crew, or to see which under-used characters they should try out next. Leaderboards & Connected Arcade: Players can track how they stack up against their friends through leaderboards, as well as view a full breakdown of gameplay related stats.

Highly Recommended. 9/10* Fantastic compilation of both 90's d&d beat em up arcade games(tower of doom and shadow over mystara). the visuals are incredible, the pixel art is great, incredible to see people uploading screenshots with the damn blur filter that makes everything looks like mermelade, i rater use crt royale or similar reshades. the music is meh, the story its also mid but its not a bad thing, is just so old school simple. The gameplay is really good, is a very good beat em up(upt to 4 players) where you're not gonna only button smash, there are a lot of fantasy stuff in it, for example, you must burn trolls after beating them or they will recover themselves, fire does nothing to mud golems, etc. The game has a lot of routes, so you may need to replay it a lot in order to unlock all paths, there is a loot of dungeon crawling, secret rooms and chest looting. It also has a lot of unlockable art, a few cheats, and some challenge modes. The game has achievements and got the game for really cheap on sale so cant complain at all.2 found this helpful

This didn't age well. The controls are terrible. Hit boxes are a mystery. Gameplay matters, and the gameplay feels very outdated. If I did any cool moves, they were totally on accident. It's barely worth the 3 bucks i paid for it. It's one of the very worst beat-em-ups I ever played.1 found this helpful

As much as I want to leave a glowing review, because the games themselves are good, I played both on arcade cabinets back in the day, but I can't because it's a broken ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess on the Steam release. Controller support is basically nonexistent, even for the "fully supported" (my ass it is.) X-input controllers-of which I tried 3, two were official M$ branded, and even forcing steam input won't fix it. If you're player 1, I hope you like playing a Beat-em-up using a keyboard, and if you want that couch co-op/arcade feel with friends, you can basically go ♥♥♥♥ yourself with this one. Buy it, then legally emulate the classic arcade versions, you'll do far better that way. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disappointed.
