Story:

I really enjoyed this game. Dragon Quest III is one of my favorite JRPGs and I love having it remade in this HD-2D style.1 found this helpful
Other than the idea of adding "personilities" for stat growth which I accidently screwed myself of two levels cause I found a defense ring that I didn't read closely. The game does follow the original NES game PLUS more. The artwork is great and the battle system is like the NES save for no more miss hits/casts because a monster died. No more whiffing. It always baffled me that the NES did that.
PEAK QUEST
I love Dragon Quest with all my heart and this is a fine enough version of the game. It ultimately felt like a port rather than a full blown "Remake." The new class is fun, but it's still Dragon Quest 3 at its heart. The first half of the game is fun but the back half can feel like a slog. The voice acting was welcomed, and at times, the game was definitely pretty. Not a huge fan of "HD-2D" games in general personally tho. If you've never played DQ3, this a good version to play.
all the good stuff from the original. plus improvements. is extremely easy compared to the original, but enjoying it all the same
