A conditional thumbs up. Lets address the first issue, the translation. The developer states very clearly on the store page that English is not their native tongue and the translation is done by AI. It's serviceable, but with some holes. You'll get a quest description that is clear and well translated, but the listing of the quest reward is not. You'll go to board a boat to travel to another area and the boat owner will query you with an untranslated query. Common sense says one query will be "Depart" and the other " Not Depart", but if that sort of thing bothers you, then this is not the game for you. Who will this game appeal to? Lovers of old console games and experience grinders. There are random battles galore. Crossing one room consisted of five random battles. Battles play out very quickly, but there is a lot of button pressing - choose this skill, choose that target - for each member of your party. Carpal tunnel is not your friend. The keyboard layout isn't horrible, but a game controller elevates the interface from serviceable to enjoyable. At this point I can't recommend this game... There are a lot of missing translations, including potential party members. There is a LOT of saving (in more than one slot because of autosaves) and reloading. The grinding isn't bad. Got to Clovis city and was locked out of quests, or was not given any indication of where to go from there. Once I started grinding ancient coins (Really low drop rate for the amount you need to grind) for legendary armor I realized my party make-up isn't feasible due to non-respawning ore, which means having to start over and regrind levels. The biggest thing is probably that there is no way to know which party members have what kind of attack base, very non-standard damage determination. basically base damage for weapons is 1 of 4 (I think, didn't test all of them) stats multiplied by 4 or 8, physical attack, magic attack, Reiki, and agility... but there isn't any way to tell which characters have which and you can't focus on the best damage ratio or you'll not be able to to take advantage of the best "legendary" armor for every character.
