This is rather unplayable for me. The UX is just awful. For starters, I'm lurching all over the place. I tap forward and lurch forward like 3 steps. Then tap left and lurch left like 3 steps. It's like my character is drunk and stumbling all over the place. Walking down a hall is fine but trying to explore a small room is very annoying. Second, lots of items have dots near them, indicating that they're interactive, but it seems like some aren't interactive. Right in the first room, there's a photo on the desk with a dot and I couldn't interact with it. Maybe the character just comments on it but she was commenting on a bunch of things so I couldn't tell if one of the lines was relevant to the photo. And, even if that was the case, it didn't repeat when I tried to interact with it again. Another UX issue, the subtitles are centered in your vision in the same spot that graphics appear when you add something to your inventory so if you're exploring a room while NPCs are talking nearby, everything overlaps each other. I only played the game for like 5 minutes but that was enough to know I wanted to refund it. Aside from the UX, it does look decent at a glance. The look an…1 found this helpful
Index user: Another game with a mostly positive review score that I whole heartedly disagree with. I only played for 36 minutes, and I can already tell I was not going to enjoy it. The level design is very bad. It may as well be a railroad shooter... you are not permitted to explore, and you are not rewarded with anything other than invisible walls if you try. The layout of levels feels very contrived to suit the railroad storyline, which makes for a very boring and immersion breaking experience. Where I truely realised the game had nothing to offer me was the first combat experience. I was given a dagger and a gun. The enemy approaches (it's unarmed) I slash at its weak spots with the dagger for little damage, it swings at me, so I hold up my waepon to block. There is no blocking. I try runing by and slashing, but the enemy can land an attack on me every time... so the melee weapon is useless. Next the gun, it is almost impossible to pull the slide to arm the pistol because the character wants to hold the pistol with two hands. The sweet spot to grab the slide is nearly impossibly tiny... so in combat good luck reloading before you die. Accidentally ejected magazines cannot be …
Dreadful controls on the index controllers. The menu in bound to the TOUCH of left touch pad, so any time you rest your thumb, you trigger it, and of course you cant rebind it.
at this point I feel I should state I've just started the game bug there are some issues with it I noticed. Controls are flakey and at times you will have issues interacting with the things you need to. Movement is ok, not great but it works slowly. I went back and continued in the hopes that maybe my first play was just having to get used to things, nope this game has some bugs that need to be addressed to actually play and enjoy the game. I really wanted to play the game but its just way to buggy for me.
Nice game. Reloading weapons kinda sucks.
