About DreadMoon

Enter the world of DreadMoon, where primal ferocity clashes with vampiric tyranny.
Drawing inspiration from legendary titles like Quake and Halo, and enriched with modern enhancements, this first-person shooter plunges you into a relentless battle against the vampire lord Balthazar in a land stained with blood.

Starting December 12, 2023, dive into Dreadmoon's Early Access Multiplayer release free of charge.
From the depths of Luisa's mausoleum to the corridors of Balthazar's library, battle across classic modes like Capture the Flag and Team Deathmatch, embrace the hunt in Alpha mode, or experience raw, explosive action in Sticks and Stones. The game is still in Early Access, and we released the multiplayer in this state because we want people to come chat with us and engage with the community. We're a small but mighty team and are working as fast as we can to implement improvements. We want your help in developing and thoughts on how to improve the game!

From rapid-fire crossbows to deadly miniguns, a wide assortment of weapons are out there for you to satiate your bloodlust.

BloodRage: when enough blood has been shed, you can enter a state of primal fury and wreak havoc on your foes.

I'm ashamed to call this a game. It's not fun to play at all and it's full of bugs. I started playing and I arrived somewhere where I had to kill minions and other creatures I don't remember the names, divided in 3 groups A, B & C. It wasn't explained what were A, B & C? I kept killing more than hundreds of them and still not over, I saw myself killed the B group but still A & C that are not explained who and how they are.. I had to keep moving, kill and get health simultaneously otherwise, they kill me. When guns were out of ammo, I went to get ammo and most of the times getting ammo didn't work. When you die with no ammo, you replay with no ammo. It's okay for a game to be competitive but not like this.. I would like to thank Steam for accepting my refund request for the Co-Op Campaign and original soundtrack.

Pretty unpolished boomer shooter experience. There are many others to play instead. And no bots to play against. Good luck trying to convince your friends to play this.

I just downloaded this game and tried to change the resolution to 1280x720, but when the game window changes to that size the options disappear and I have to close the game to get back to the main menu, with the window defaulting to original size. I'd like to be able to change the game window size and have it stay that size if possible, please Here's hoping the gameplay makes up for this. The trailer did make it look promising

DreadMoon has some interesting ideas, but it feels unfinished at the moment. The atmosphere is decent, but the gameplay becomes repetitive, and there are quite a few bugs and rough edges that hurt the overall experience. It has potential, but I think it needs more updates before it's really worth recommending.

I had a really enjoyable time playing Dreadmoon. The atmosphere and overall design kept me engaged from start to finish. The game does a great job creating tension while still being fun to explore and experience. The visuals and sound design add a lot to the mood, and the gameplay feels smooth and satisfying. It’s one of those games that pulls you in and makes you want to keep going just to see what happens next. Overall, a solid and memorable experience—definitely worth trying if you enjoy immersive games with a strong atmosphere.
